Terms of Use

These terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. By downloading or using PicNum, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable terms. If a mandatory law gives you rights that cannot be limited by these terms, that law continues to apply.

Use of the App

PicNum gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to Apple’s usage rules. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its security, access another person’s jobs, automate abusive requests, reverse-engineer the app except where law permits it, or redistribute the app or bundled content.

Credits and Purchases

Converting a personal photo costs the number of credits shown before you confirm. Credit packs are optional consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple; there is no subscription.

• Purchased credits do not expire.
• A submitted conversion consumes the displayed amount. If the service records the conversion as failed, those credits are returned automatically.
• Bundled samples, painting an existing canvas, reopening saved work, and exporting do not consume conversion credits.
• Credits are connected to the app’s anonymous client ID. Consumable credits are not automatically restored by Apple’s Restore Purchases feature and may not move automatically to another device or app installation.
• If you lose access to an unused paid balance, contact support with your Apple purchase receipt and any available PicNum diagnostic information. We will investigate, but cross-device or post-deletion recovery is not guaranteed and may require purchase verification.

Apple controls payment processing and refund eligibility. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. Approved refunds or purchase revocations may cause related unused credits to be removed.

Your Content

You retain your rights to photos you submit and paintings you create. You give PicNum a limited permission to upload, process, temporarily store, and transmit that content only as needed to provide and support the conversion service.

You must have the necessary rights and permissions for every photo you submit. Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes privacy, copyright, trademark, or other rights. You are responsible for how you use or share generated artwork.

Service Availability

Photo conversion requires internet access and working backend services. Processing time and output quality vary with the photo and selected detail level. We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the service when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product changes.

Paintings and progress are primarily stored on your device. PicNum does not currently provide account-based cloud synchronization, so deleting the app, losing the device, or clearing local data may remove saved work.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how selected photos, generated content, identifiers, purchase information, and diagnostics are processed and how to request deletion.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and conversion service are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every generated result will meet your expectations. This does not exclude warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PicNum and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when the app, purchases, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Changes do not remove rights already granted for completed purchases.
